This Refund & Returns Policy applies to purchases made from G SAUCES LTD (“G Sauce”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Nothing in this policy limits or removes any rights you have under UK consumer law.
Faulty, damaged, unsafe or incorrect goods
If your order arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described, is unsafe, or we have sent the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible. You may be entitled to a refund, replacement or another remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.
Please provide your order number and, where reasonably possible, photographs of the item and packaging. Photographs help us investigate the issue but are not intended to remove any statutory right you may have.
Food safety and chilled deliveries
If a refrigerated product arrives leaking, with a broken seal, visibly damaged, or in a condition that gives you concern about its safety or quality, do not consume it. Contact us as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery. This request for prompt contact does not affect your statutory rights.
Cancelling before dispatch
If you want to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us immediately. If we are able to stop fulfilment, we will cancel the order and refund the amount paid to the original payment method.
Change-of-mind cancellations
Consumers buying online will normally have a right to cancel qualifying orders within 14 days after receiving the goods and, after notifying the seller, a further 14 days to return them.
However, the law provides exceptions. A change-of-mind cancellation right may not apply to goods that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or to sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken. Because G Sauce products are food products and may be perishable and/or sealed for food safety and hygiene, these exceptions may apply.
Where a statutory change-of-mind right does apply, tell us within 14 days of receiving the goods. We will then provide return instructions. Goods should be returned without unnecessary delay and no later than 14 days after you tell us you are cancelling.
Opened food products
For change-of-mind returns, we cannot accept a food product after a health or hygiene seal has been broken where the legal exception applies. This restriction does not affect your rights if the product is faulty, unsafe, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract.
Return delivery costs
Where you exercise a qualifying change-of-mind cancellation right, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise or the law requires us to pay it. If an item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming, we will cover reasonable return costs where required by law.
Refund timing and method
Where a refund is due following a valid cancellation, we will make the refund within the time required by law. For a qualifying change-of-mind return, this will normally be no later than 14 days after we receive the goods back or, where applicable, after you provide evidence that you have sent them back.
Refunds will normally be made to the original payment method. Where the law requires it, we will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the order. Any additional amount paid for a premium delivery service may not be refundable.
Storage and customer handling
Once delivered, please follow all storage, refrigeration and use instructions on the product label. We are not responsible for deterioration caused by a failure to follow those instructions after delivery, except where the law provides otherwise.
Proof of purchase
We may ask for reasonable proof that the goods were purchased from us, such as your order confirmation, order number or other proof of purchase.
